The entertainment ventures for LeBron James continue to roll out and show why his move to the Los Angeles Lakers was essential. Deadline reports the latest product to come from James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment will be a 10-episode series for CBS titled Million Dollar Mile.
Deadline reports the new project will be a collaborative effort with Fly on the Wall Entertainment, which produces the long-running Big Brother series for the same network. The new series will take over a major city’s streets creating a course that will allow for contestants to have a chance at winning $1,000,000 when they run the Million Dollar Mile, however, elite athletes will be present to attempt to stop the contestants.
“This show takes competition series to a whole new level,” Carter detailed to Deadline. “It’s intense, it’s entertaining and it has a twist that will have people on the edge of their seats while also creating an opportunity to change the contestants’ lives. It’s exactly the type of aspirational content SpringHill Entertainment is about, and we can’t wait for people to experience it.”
Just yesterday it was announced SpringHill Entertainment will also bring forth the three-part docu-series, Shut Up and Dribble.
