The New Balance vault is filled with more than a few lifestyle sneakers that any brand would be happy to rework as a cool collaboration. Thankfully, Miami’s own Stray Rats got the chance to do just that by giving us a fresh take on the popular 990v3 silhouette.
Nubuck on the upper always makes for a clean finish for any pair of kicks, but it’s the colorway that really gives these bad boys its standout quality. The combination of mint green and purple blends perfectly against the black engineered mesh, and even the speckled grey Encap midsole adds a nice color switch-up that really makes these a viable fall footwear option. Even if the thought of rats in any shape or form makes your skin crawl like most people, we’re sure that won’t stop you from coughing up the cheese to cop these.
The Stray Rats x New Balance 990v3 retails for $190 USD and will arrive in the former brand’s online shop beginning tomorrow (September 26).
