Sadly a teenager, who has been identified as Kaitlyn Renee thanks to the Internet’s best detectives, thought it was a good idea, or a funny troll, to spray paint over the mural and take selfies in front of it. Defiant and defending her actions, she responded to the backlash she received.

“I ain’t boutta argue with none of y’all over some PAINTING,” Renee said according to HipHopDX. “You know how much dope shit in heaven park gets painted over? Oh alright then hop off. Yah Boutta ‘kill’ me over a painting. That shit is hilarious.”

Thankfully, an artist in the community fixed the mural, sharing on Instagram: “We don’t do things for clout. We fight for our community.”
