Last week’s collaborative drop from Supreme came by way of a tribute to the artwork of Japanese artist Sekintani La Norihiro, and now the popular skate apparel imprint is heading back into common territory by dropping some new sneakers alongside Vans.
The new footwear offering debuting for Spring/Summer 2019 includes specially-designed Sk8-Hi Pro and Slip-On Pro models, each incorporating a diamond motif over a yellow, red, white, blue, black and brown color palette. The pattern is utilized in similar-yet-different ways between the two silhouettes, with the Sk8-Hi opting for a more two-tone construction and the Slip-On showcasing the print with a more all-over approach. The latter shoe is also completely done up in canvas, while the high-top option mixes it with suede panels that extend from the tongue to the toe box. Co-branding makes its way into the design with a “SUPREME®” imprint placed next to the Vans pull tab on the Slip-On and on the ribbed panel of the Sk8-Hi. Definitely one stylish set of skate shoes right here.
