Once she began expressing herself through writing poetry, she realized she possessed the vocal talent to turn these thoughts into song lyrics.
It was around three years ago when she decided to fully invest in music as an adult. For Bailey, poetry saved her life in the sense that her ability to convey her pain through words was transformational. “I felt like I could get other people to relate to me. A lot of people feel like they aren’t heard or understood, so I want them to know that I’m right there with them through music,” said the artist. In creating a relatable platform for fans to connect with her, she realized that her experience in pain produced something so rare and awe-inspiring. After the release in the beginning of April, the song has become an instant favorite, especially in her community of powerful and strong women. “It’s only been a couple of months, and I’ve received so much positive feedback that I’m so grateful for. A lot of people can relate to the song, and women especially feel empowered. We’re more than our looks, and we have so much more to bring to the table. Big picture, the artist has goals of embarking on a worldwide tour while spreading knowledge of the “Bae Gang” and its mission.
