Ghostface Killah, Rockie Fresh and More Perform at 5th Annual Timbuck2 Event in Chicago

Just before the Christmas season got in full swing, the 5th annual Timbuck2 Forever Tribute event took over the House of Blues in Chicago on Tuesday, December 17. The event was a testament to the work of the TFJ Foundation, which celebrates men’s health and its maintenance.

This year’s foundation event components included a collaboration with PUMA in designing a sneaker, which provided a $2,500 donation in support of the efforts of the foundation. Included in the celebration were major DJs D Nice, Maseo of De La Soul, Clark Kent, and DJ Pharris.

During the event, Timbuck2 mentee Boi Jeanius announced the rebook of Go ILL Radio, which was the platform DJ Timbuck2 would feature Chicago artists with the opportunity to hear their music on Chicago staple WGCI. Bringing back the feelings of the original run of Go ILL, Rockie Fresh, Mother Nature, including legendary Mikkey Halsted and Project Mayhem all hit the stage.
