In a post on Instagram, Megan thee Stallion reminds fans to not forget about those who may be having a hard time during the holidays. Unfortunately, she lost her mother and grandmother in the same month this year, making this her first holiday season without them around to celebrate.
Despite her misfortune, The Hot Girl reminds fans to stay positive throughout this time reminding them that it may not be easy but to still remain positive and stay strong.
She captioned the touchy video saying, “It’s really hard for me to open up and be vulnerable most times but I know I’m not the only person dealing with these feelings around the holiday times. I see a lot of my hotties checking on me In my dm’s asking how I am and just showing me a lot of love and it really made me get emotional. I’m definitely still in a bad place when it comes to the topic of my mother and great grandmother but they raised me to be strong so I’m going to continue to be strong and make them proud of me.”
Meg concludes her video by reminding fans to check up on people during the holidays who may have suffered a loss from a loved one this year and to “always be kind to people, check on them, uplift your loved ones because you never know what people are going through internally.”
Rapper Cuban Doll who has also lost her mom this year tweeted, “First Christmas without my mother. I hate the holidays now that sh*t don’t mean nothing to me!”
