A 27-year-old Florida woman was found with 12 kilograms of cocaine when she was pulled over for a simple traffic infraction. That small citation could now land her in prison for decades.
Elizabeth Espinoza was pulled over in Sumpter County, Florida for tinted windows, but when officers said she looked “overtly nervous”, they called for her 2016 Dodge Journey to be searched by the K-9 Unit, who quickly alerted that drugs were in the vehicle.
Espinoza was charged with possession of cocaine and trafficking in cocaine, with her bail was set at $158,000.
