“Don’t allow yourself to be [misled] by janky promoters and lazy ass grown men itching for the opportunity to file a lawsuit that they won’t win,” DaBaby wrote on Instagram after he was released from jail. “I remain composed and focused knowing allegations made without honesty and integrity will never be honored by the most high.” Adding, “Please be reminded that suck ass situations like these aren’t worthy of your time or attention.”

Past reports suggest that the incident started because the promoter allegedly tried to short da rapper $10K. As result, Baby and his crew jumped the man and took valuable belongings he had in his possession at the time.

TMZ reports that the concert promoter, Kenneth Carey, and his promoters are hoping to resolve “this matter expeditiously” after he claimed he was “jumped and robbed.” Carey is giving DaBaby until the end of the week to respond or else he plans to sue and seek damages.
