Smif-N-Wessun’s Dah Shinin 25th Anniversary concert at The Gramercy Theatre in New York City rocked the city during an unforgettable show celebrating the classic album.

In 1998, the album was chosen as one of The Source’s 100 Best Rap Albums. The album quickly became a certified street classic and bared bars that were smart yet soothing to the soul.
Fast forward 25 years later, hip hop came out to celebrate the album that changed the course of hip hop. DJ Funkmaster Flex and The Beatminerz opened the star-studded show which featured performances from Black Moon, Havoc, M.O.P tore the stage down with Ante Up., Rockness and Sean Price’s wife Bernadette Price who performed Operation Lockdown together. Lil Cease performed Player’s Anthem and of course Steele and Tek ran through hits from their debut album.
