Mike Pompeo Losing His Mind on Reporter, Doesn’t Deny It, Calls Her ‘Shameful’

It is almost like no one from the Trump administration treats women with respect.

According to NBCNews.com, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is alleged to have attacked an NPR correspondent who made claims that he berated her by curing at her. The Secretary claimed that she lied on him and that her actions were “shameful.”

But did she lie?

Mary Louise Kelly, the NPR correspondent in question, said that Pompeo was rude to her. She said that during her interview with him he repeatedly interrupted her. He became especially agitated with when she pushed about his lack of support to former Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch. If you have not been following the impeachment trial, Yovanovitch has actually been in the middle of the drama. Last year November, she testified that she felt like Donald Trump and his cronies were threatening her. Eventually, she was fired.

Kelly asked and reports say Pompeo got big mad. His partial statement is as follows:

“NPR reporter Mary Louise Kelly lied to me, twice. First, last month, in setting up our interview and, then again yesterday, in agreeing to have our post-interview conversation off the record. It is shameful that this reporter chose to violate the basic rules of journalism and decency.”

Kelly said that she didn’t remember it that way. At no point does she recall that they were off the record. She did remember that she submitted her questions to his office and told them that she expressly wanted to speak about Iran and Ukraine.

He released a remark but did not address the allegations against him.

NPR released the full, unedited interview with Pompeo on Friday.

“This is another example of how unhinged the media has become in its quest to hurt President Trump and this Administration. It is no wonder that the American people distrust many in the media when they so consistently demonstrate their agenda and their absence of integrity,” Pompeo said Saturday.

The entire Trump administration are all losing it.
