Aaron Gordon, Damian Lillard, Trae Young, Zach Lavine, Derrick Rose, and More to Participate in #NBAAllStar Saturday Night

We are just a week away from NBA All-Star weekend going down in Chicago and the NBA has announced the participants for the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest, Mountain Dew Three-Point Contest, and the Taco Bell Skills Contest.

The headlining event, the dunk contest, will bring out Orlando Magic Aaron Gordon to his third competition and for him, hopefully, his first win. He will compete against Los Angeles Laker Dwight Howard, Pat Connaughton of the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami HEAT high-flying swingman Derrick Jones Jr.

The three-point conversation will bring Chicago Bulls swingman Zach LaVine over from the dunk contest and will put him against long ball shooters like previous champion Joe Harris, superstars in Damian Lillard and Trae Young, along with snipers like Davis Bertans, Devonte Graham, Buddy Hield and Duncan Harris.

New to this year’s three-point contest is the MTN DEW Zone, which includes two locations positioned 6 feet behind the 3-point line and holds one special green ball, the “3-Ball.” Shots made with the green ball are worth three points.

Hometown hero Derrick Rose will return in the Taco Bell Skills competition and will face-off against another Chicago guy in Patrick Beverly. Additional competitors include Spencer Dinwiddie, All-Star Bam Adebayo, Kris Middleton, Damontas Sabonis, Pascal Siakam and Jayson Tatum.

NBA All-Star Saturday Night will go down next Saturday, February 15, 2020, and will be broadcast live on TNT.
