Fresh off his new album, “Genesis,” fans have already voiced which songs on the project are their favorites. Despite the wide variety of sounds found on Chris’ album, replay value is king and the one song that seems to be the stand-out so far is “Petty.” Full of witty references and geographically exclusive lingo, “Petty” is Chris Cash at his rawest. Disregarding traditional structure for a more primal approach to his records, it is apparent that Chris Cash is determined to take his destiny into his own hands.
The 12-track offering from Chris is a bold testament to his release tactics in today’s streaming era. While Chris’ peers aim to stunt with growth hacks like big features and brand name production, the lone New Yorker is reliant on delivering only quality product to fans.
