About a week ago, a video surfaced of DaBaby punching a woman in the face during a concert in Tampa. The action prompted the crowd to boo DaBaby, causing him to cut the concert short and leave. He apologized to the victim, but apparently that wasn’t enough. Now she is pursuing legal action.

According to TMZ, the victim, Tyronesha Laws, filed a lawsuit against the North Carolina MC this week, claiming that she was struck “suddenly and without warning.” The victim’s lawyers added that “Our goal is to deter similar conduct in the future and send a message that this type of behavior is not tolerated in America.”

Laws claim that she was not the person who shined the light in DaBaby’s face and that it was the person next to her that did. According to Tyronesha, DaBaby has shown no remorse for the incident after making fun of it in a comedy skit with comedian Micahel Blackson. DaBaby’s lawyers have since denied the allegations and claim that Laws is not the person that was hit.
