Pusha-T is continuing to make his imprint on hip-hop with his new Heir Wave Music Group. Showing what the roster is made of, King Push’s signee Kahri 1K has released his new music video for “When They See Us” featuring Quando Rondo.
The video is directed by Shomi Patwary and is the follow-up to “Trenches,” a video that also serves as a PSA against gun violence and detailing the aftermath of post-traumatic stress.
“The record was inspired by vibe of the city (Petersburg, VA) and what my people go through every day,” said Kahri 1K. “I already had the song done and I felt like he (Quando Rondo) was the perfect fit, so we reached out. The visual is a first hand look at the conditions in which I was raised and my exit plan to make it out.”
