YXNG K.A is a radiant voice within the music industry and now, he’s taking his talent to the next level. Ready to take on the world and tell his story, this Philadelphia based high school senior has quickly taken his local scene by storm with a newly signed record deal with Interscope Records and representation from Stack or Starve Records.
This week, YXNG K.A keeps the momentum going with his latest visual effort, “Imagine That”. It’s an emotional ballad that tells the story of a love triangle accompanied by a stunning visual from emerging director Tayyofficial. It finds him spending time with two different girlfriends while one finds out that she is getting played. “That was just my feelings at that moment” the rapper explains “just stuff that I really be going through in real life.”
Produced by frequent collaborator Palaze, YXNG K.A very seamlessly as he rides various flows throughout the song. His unique tempos and upbeat disposition show that he takes his craft very seriously even with being so young in the game. “I wouldn’t do anything after school, I’d just go home and make sure I wrote a couple of songs every day,” he says. “Everything that was happening with me, everything that I was feeling at the time, I put it right into the songs. I don’t usually talk a lot or vent to people, so if I’m going through something I’ll just make a song about it.”
YXNG K.A is expected to release more visuals soon with RCA Records signee Lil Muk for their collaboration “UNFINISHED BUSINESS”.
