P Double is a versatile artist in the sense that all of his music is different. Leading by example and sticking to his roots, keeping it “New York”, but also adapting to the newer age sound. P Double’s key components in order are the lyrics, melody, story, and the message behind each record. If you could categorize P Double’s music he would be close to a “NY style rapper”, but not necessarily a boom-bap / NY Drill artist. P has his own sound. His biggest inspiration is from Jay-Z, someone who left a major impact in the Hip-Hop community as one of the greatest to ever do it, but shining the light that has to be educated on business in the rap game. P Double is here to leave a mark on hip-hop, he doesn’t chase clout, money, or the fame, he really is here for the culture.
