A veteran in the Chicago music scene, Sahil Contractor, or better known by his stage name, “Signature illi” has been growing both as an artist and a human being. While navigating the music industry Sahil was also busy growing as an entrepreneur and as a philanthropist. The future is bright for the 25 year old musician, with a budding music career, multiple WingStop franchises and an altruistic mindset. Recently he has received some recognition in the form of an honor from the NAACP for unifying the community. His latest release “Smile” and last project “Alter Ego” came from illi listening to his fans saying they simply wanted more music. There was never a more opportune moment to capitalize on hip hop’s ability to bring people together. During this lockdown people need music more than ever and if there was ever a time to share a positive message it is now. The power of music’s ability to break down cultural, economic and really transcend any human barrier is something illi intends to weaponize in his crusade to make a positive influence on the world.
