Since her early days, she moved places often as her father was constantly transferred from one place to another. Having stayed in almost every state across the US including NC, SC, FL, NY, CA and Virginia, changing locations every three years.
Music was something which interested her since the beginning, and one could find her making songs in her room. By the time she was fifteen, she was seasoned enough to record on her own, and that’s what she did and showcased her talent amongst her peers. The talent couldn’t be hidden for long, and the appreciation she got boosted her confidence to go ahead in making a career as a music artist. Her recording stints required financial support, and working to sustain her artistic career was important which made her work in different industries like hospitality, healthcare and retail. To balance both her full-time job and music career was becoming difficult with her constant studio visits which took up a lot of her time. This finally made her quit her job and lookout for better opportunities which would help in fuelling her passion.
The drive to succeed drove her to establish her own entertainment company ‘ADHDTV’ and marketing agency ‘Kopius Media’, which is located in Culpeper, VA and offers promotional services for personal brands such as Spotify playlisting, YouTube campaigns and organic Instagram growth. “the main idea behind starting my own ventures was that I could utilize my existing network of professionals to boost others careers as well as pursue my goals,” says S-EM-C. While in the process of providing value to artists, she was able to propel her own career ahead. With business growth and expanding client base, she transitioned into licensing placements, custom songwriting, and music for international marketing campaigns with well established companies like ASOS.
Presently S-EM-C has her hands full of work, and her music is available on all major streaming platforms with her latest track to release this quarter.
