From the town of Vallejo, California, Semaj the Poet is doing all he can to make his hip hop dreams a reality. Ever since he was a young kid, Semaj has been surrounded by music. His mother and father have given him endless amounts of support on his journey, and he knows that he wouldn’t be where he is today without them. He uses their guidance and inspiration to make a life for himself that they always talked about when he was growing up, and he’s not far from making that happen.
Semaj the Poet is a talented young artist that pulls inspiration for his music from artist like Bruno Mars, Drake, Beyonce, Kelahni, and HER. These are all great artists to look up to and aspire to be, but Semaj wants his name in the same conversation as them one day. He will not settle until he makes it to the top of the music industry, as he knows that is what he is capable of.
Throughout 2020, Semaj dropped a laundry list of music that has seen a lot of support from his fans. That year more than ever has broke or made the career of the new wave of artists. Fortunately for Semaj, he falls on the right side of that discussion. He and his team have set themselves up for the perfect transition to the new year, and all their hard work is going to come to light finally.
Having already been on TV, BET JAMS, and Iheart Radio, Semaj has high expectations to live up to. He and his team have set up their own LLC and brand “Feel Good Music” and have been able to make all these moves on their own. Once Semaj gets recognized by a major record label, there’s no telling what he is capable of accomplishing.
