Cooli Highh Moves Beyond His Past Tribulations toward Musical Success and Stardom

Being told he would not amount to anything is the reminder Cooli Highh needs daily to never rest on his oars as a person and an entertainer. With his life story marked by different events, good and bad, his personality has been shaped by those events to birth the man and artist he’s grown into today.

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Cooli Highh’s musical influences include Curren$y, ATCQ, Andre 3000, Jay Z, Fab, Juelz Santana, Jimmi Hendrix, and The Rap Goats. These legendary musical icons played a significant part in Cooli Highh’s resolve to pursue a music career and excel at it. This artist is also known for his features with 21 Savage, big Krit, young Dolph, Rockie fresh, Maino, and more.

With his aspiration to break into the top ten artists in Arkansas and San Diego, California, he’s pulling all the stops to achieve those feats without minding what detractors have to say. He released a few projects so far this year titled “Road To Fame,” “9Hrs Hosted By Dj Vip,” and most recently, “The Return of Cooli Highh, Trap Tape Vol. 1” as his tickets to endear himself to people’s hearts and they have all showed out by their streaming numbers.

Cooli Highh’s interests include music, anime, voice acting, and Mexican food. His career is characterized by his unique experience of being kidnapped and burnt alive when he was three years old. He’s the only known artist to have survived being burnt and left to die, and for years, he was plagued with declarations that he would never be able to walk, get a job, or fully function as a human being. “I defied all their predictions and overcame all the limitations attached to what I survived. Even though  I don’t really fit the normal rapper look, I just want to break that mold to let people know they can become things greater than anyone expected if they fight hard enough for it,” he said. “I want to show I’m more than my scars,” he added.

Cooli Highh takes pride in his story and goes by the tag “MC Who Emerged from Fire and Now Spitting Fire.” Cooli Highh has been on a brand-building movement for a while now to ensure he’s appropriately established as an artist with the proper structure to thrive in the cutthroat entertainment industry. He believes in projecting himself and selling himself to the world in the best ways possible.

In five years, Cooli Highh sees himself winning multiple awards, writing hit songs for movies, other artists, jingles for brands, and having his hands in the best musical pieces that everyone is feeling by that time. “I am geared toward becoming one of the best artists to walk the face of the earth. I have survived horrible circumstances and hope my story turns someone’s life around.  I hope they live through the bad times and never allow those times define them. The bad things or mistakes they make do not matter, and if they choose to, they can be great by pursuing their passion. They are not the past, so I hope my music makes everyone who listens realize this,” he said.
