Fans of Tierra Whack may be heartbroken after the news that the 25-year-old rapper is done creating music. As one of today’s most unique artists, Whack announced that she is throwing in the towel after a quick post to her Instagram account.
“I quit. I’m done making music,” she penned. While the reason Whack wants to quit music is unclear, it’s safe to say her fans are not supportive of her decision to walk away from music. “This would suck alot if true,” one fan wrote.
“I really hope this is cap. I just started getting into Whack World,” another fan commented. Tierra Whack rose to prominence with her quick-witted freestyles and creative imagination. Her debut album, “Whack World” released in 2018. The 15-minute album was named Pitchfork’s 38th best “Album of the Decade.”
Recently, Whack released her single “76” to pay homage to her hometown team, the Philadelphia 76ers.
Shortly after her post that announced she was done with music, Tierra took to her Twitter and tweeted, “I ain’t finna ruin nobody else day just cause I’m having a bad one.”
