After racking up roughly a quarter-million streams with “3AM” and it’s accompanying remix, which featured Billboard chart topping rap act Derez De’Shon (@DerezDeShon), HTX’s E Bleu (@ImEBleu) continues his late night rendezvous with the next chapter in his Same Time Tomorrow EP rollout by way of latest leak “4AM.” Showcasing his natural storytelling ability while providing a relatable POV, the song reveals an eye-opening dimension into E’s sound and depth.
E Bleu speaking on the song’s origins :
“We went to Big Sky, Montana a few days after I made 3AM to catch a vibe and create. I didn’t even have a project in mind yet, I just wanted to get back in a creative space really. One of our first nights there I remember everyone being downstairs playing beer games and I was up in the studio room in my own world going through some stuff on my phone. I clicked ‘record’ and it all came together.”
The 2EZ Recordings’ posterboy first hopped on the scene as a teen in a duo with Kevin Abstract, lead singer/songwriter of Brockhampton. In 2018, he released his breakout solo effort “Me Time,” which caught the attention of Motown Records’ Shawn Barron who took an interest in him and began to help develop his sound. The K3yboarrdKid-crafted cut later spawned a high profile remix with Eric Bellinger & 24hrs, captipulting his career into overdrive.
