WhoExotic is a young artist from upstate New York that has blended punk and rap in a way that’s never been seen before. His music leans more toward his rock influences but every so often he gives quotable lines or cadences that can only be a derivative of the trends in modern hip hop. As “trendy” as the sound is, WhoExotic is anything but a cookie-cutter, as each track he takes greater risks than the last, making every song refreshing and authentic. Many will try to copy as WhoExotic’s fan base expands, but they will likely find it hard to come close to what the young artist does effortlessly.
