SOURCE SPORTS: Enes Kanter Adds “Freedom” to His Name

Enes Kanter will now officially go by Enes Kanter Freedom. The Boston Celtics center has changed his name along with receiving his United States citizenship, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

In a tweet, Shams revealed, “Kanter will be his middle name, Freedom his new last name.”

Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter is legally changing his name to Enes Kanter Freedom, @TheAthletic @Stadium learned. Kanter will be his middle name, Freedom is his new last name. He becomes a U.S. citizen on Monday.
