With the continued bloodshed taking over the streets of Memphis, Lieutenant $hyne pays homage to his beloved brothers with his latest offering. As a result, he drops off his heartbreaking tribute visual for his new track, “Trials & Tribulations”. In fact, the respected record will appear on his debut album, Destined 2 $hyne, which is set for a Summer 2022 release. In addition to following up the release of $hyne’s blazing 8 Legged Freak EP.

The Chindeu “Mr. Chin” Ernesto-directed music video really brings the already sentimental single Blackout-produced “Trials & Tribulations” to life. $hyne’s delicately crafted lyrics derived from his heart give the listening audience a glimpse into the pain he feels on the inside after losing countless loved ones in recent years. Now, he has an accompanying visual that depicts just that.

Following Charlamagne Tha God’s statement on the Breakfast Club last year, “Memphis has the best rappers in the game right now…” $hyne is solely focused on becoming the next indie artist to be brought up in that conversation. $hyne grew up on McMillian Street, one of the most dangerous areas in South Memphis while being inspired by artists such as Lil’ Wayne, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Starlito, Memphis legends 8Ball & MJG, and the late great Young Dolph, to name a few. Which is reflected in his records.
