Jayson Echo is a singer, songwriter, and producer born in Harlem, New York, and raised in the Bronx. His parents inspired him into the entertainment industry. His father is a dancer, and his mother is a DJ. Jayson was a dancer until middle school when he recognized his vocal gift. Jayson has an extensive catalog of music in all types of genres. He has written for many other artists and played on New York Power 105, Hot97, and Chicago radio.
Like every upcoming artist, Jayson has been close to the top but has also dealt with the struggle of being independent. He has been in the industry for almost a decade, has built credibility as a songwriter, and many New York DJs recognize him. An enthusiastic artist, Jayson has been working on a solo project and is set to release music in the fall of 2022.
Jayson is not your ordinary artist. A song he wrote,, “Give it 2 U”, reached the top 10 on RnB Billboard charts. He remixed “Toast” by Koffer, which got nearly 10 million streams, performed in a band called US5 for a few years, and has performed on-stage for 10k-30k people. Jayson also played on New York’s top hip-hop and RnB stations Power 105 and hot97.
Jayson has great plans for his music career. He aims to keep making solo music on a bigger scale. “As far as dreams, I’m already dreaming of doing what I love, but I think performing on a big stage with festival-type vibes and people singing a song I wrote or even singing along with one of my own songs would be it for me,” Jayson concludes.
