Detroit native, Rich Prezley, introduces his debut solo album HeartBreak Prezley recently, and it’s no surprise that listeners added the ten track masterpiece to their music apps in, well, a heartbeat.
Prezley tells us that “Not a Break Up Song” was one of his favorites, and his word does it justice. “Bottled Emotions” and “Prezley Flow” are ones to vibe to as well. At a young 16 years of age, the artist discovered his talent and love for music, and continued to master his craft. “I started to get serious last year when I saw how this could really change my life and my family’s lives for the better,” the artist tells The Source.
Produced by Yvngmylesproduction, HeartBreak Prezley dives deep into the emotions of listeners through rap music, which is what the industry has lacked. It’s artists like Rich Prezley that have the skill to bring back meaning to music once more. It’s more than a catchy tune, hard-hitting bars need to match, and the artist made the right choice going solo on the album.
“I didn’t want any features so I could display my talents” Prezley admits. “My goal was to work hard first and take myself seriously before I expected anyone else to.” Payroll, Peezy, and BabyFace Ray are other Detroit artists that would make dope collaborations.
Also released, the official music to “No Love” gives us a visual glimpse of the album.
