Stevie Soprano, born Stephen Yanni, is a talented artist from Philadelphia who got his start at just 13 years old. He got his start in music at a young age when he saw something of himself in some of the greats. He got inspired to start rapping by seeing other artists, award shows, concerts, and magazines. Stevie Soprano has had overwhelming success in his craft including performing for Sway on “Sway In The Morning,” doing 16 or Better with Jack Thriller, doing an interview at Thisis50 with Dj Thoro, and was an opening act for Michael Blackson the comedian at Carolines on Broadway in 2016. He has also had the opportunity to perform in many places such as Los Angeles at the annual ASCAP Expo, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, and Miami. Stevie Soprano has opened for artists such as Nore and Obie Trice at S.O.B. ‘s in NYC.
Through all his success and hard work, he has also had much to overcome. In 2020 while leaving a bank with $3,000 for a music video, he was robbed, pistol-whipped, and shot. He is grateful every day to have survived this encounter and remains focused on his goals even more than before.
