Chaitha is a twenty year old artist hailing from the Bay area of California. It’s not surprising that this Indian-American artist’s career has soared as his creations are as unique and commendable as he is.
This all started in his bedroom during the pandemic. As a result of his isolation, he recorded covers of well-known songs in his car and uploaded it on social media, grabbing a lot of attention. Seeing the response from the listeners made him determined to move forward and this determination made him drop his first-ever song on many musical platforms in the year 2020 and to be specific on the 10th of June.
Since then he has not looked back and has recently released an EP named “Bittersweet Boulevard”.
The EP “Bittersweet Boulevard” happens to be his favorite project as it shows the ups and downs of his relationship and how he tried to be vulnerable. The story has been told through four tracks namely “Scars”, “Nauseous”, “Made for Me” and “Erase”. It’s a banger from the very first note, but all four tracks hold their own and are worth a listen.
He has a series of processes he uses to create projects, like every other artist. First, he tries to find a beat that he can connect to, and then once the connection has been made, he tries to work on the hook. The melodies come easily to him which is impressive. The lyrical game, which is the most essential part, is created in such a way that it can evoke the listener’s emotions and feelings. Having such creativity in the creation of a song at such a young age can make anyone realize that Chaitha is made for this.
Every song of Chaitha has a bit of insight into his life. Chaitha creates music in its purest form so that it can touch the listeners’ soul and acts as a balm for the wound.
My musical inspirations are Bryson Tiller, Ryan Trey, Santino Le Saint, and Aaryan Shah. I create music based on the feelings that we all experience during the ups and downs of life and relationships/love. I aim to make music that evokes emotions of love, bliss, and euphoria.” Chaitha quotes in our recent interview.
When a project does not progress well, he tries to give it a break. This is so that after a fresh start he is able to channel his emotion into words in the form of hardcore lyricism.
He is proud of all the messages from his fans and this motivates him to keep working.
