Sueltate by Koyote The Konnection Prod by Ibsen is out now
Coachella Valley Rap Artist, Songwriter, and Entrepreneur Genaro Bautista aka Koyote The Konnection (formally known as Aka Coyote or Temoc) signed to Mr. Capone’s record label HiPower Entertainment in the early 2000s. While under HiPower, Koyote Released his solo album titled “Turn It Up,”featuring Mr. Capone-E, Lil Rob, Goldie Loc from The Eastsidaz, DTTX, Lay Low, and more.
Koyote is one-half of the Latino Duo rap group “2 Dawg,” formally known as the fifth Sun, which formed in the mid-1990s. Jagg Chingon, also known as (Chingon) the other half of the fifth Sun, met Koyote at a recording studio in Coachella, California, in 1995, where the two became close friends and formed a rap group together.
Fifth Sun hooked up with Brett Bolden of 783 and signed to record label “447” under Universal Records a couple of years after the group formed. After leaving 447 due to artistic differences, Koyote and Chingon released their first album, independently titled “Ice InYour Viens.” The album featured their hit single “Trucha,”shared multiple times on Pocos Pero Loco’s show.
While Koyote focused on his solo career a few years later, Mr. Capone met Koyote at little green studios in riverside, California. He asked him to join the HiPower Entertainment record label after hearing the record “Trucha” and the new music he was creating at the time, and Koyote agreed.
After leaving the HiPower label, Koyote went independent from 2009 – 2019; during that time, he linked up with Quino from Big Mountain, who had also been living in the Coachella Valley in thermal, California; the two got together and collaborated on an unreleased record titled “Turn I Loose.” Set to release in the winter of 2022.
From 2019 – May of 2022, Koyote was signed with Girasol music under Sony Orchard (a subsidiary division of Sony Music), where he released his 2020 album titled “KoyoteTumbando Trap.”
As of June 2022, Koyote The Konnection has recently joined the Independent record label Kryptic Reign Music out of the Coachella Valley, founded by Juan Carlos Fajardo Jr, akaRapper, Xpression / Xpression The MC, where he is currently working on his upcoming EP. Koyote’s first single, under Kryptic Reign Music Titled “Sueltate,” was released on July 15thof, 2022. Sueltate is a reggaeton Latin urban rap club banger for the ladies and will follow with a music video set to film in August of 2022.
