Izzy King Set To Release “Gang Ties” feat. Skyler Miller

While serving a 30-year sentence for murder, Izz aka Izzy King plans to drop his next major release called ” Gang Ties ” featuring Skyler Miller, engineered by OTRMarkem, & produced by Chaserunitup. This project is expected to release on 09/01/22. Izz has been faithfully releasing music from behind the wall since 2019. Some projects reach up to 75k views across all platforms.
“This next project will make you dance no matter what culture you’re from.”

Izz was showcasing the project on Facebook live when Skyler tuned into his live curiosity of the description, “9 years down 21 years to go.” It is known that cellphones are illegal in the prison system but Izzy takes the risk to pursue an inspiring career. Izzy debuted his very own pair of designer shoes which he seems almost impossible to sell to supporters questioning the market value. Izz has also published a book in which he strives to become a New York Times best-selling author. Izzy also speaks of his future album titled “Prison Stories” expected to release this year.

With the inspiration of wanting to make a difference in the most impossible circumstances, Izzy didn’t stop there. He is working to create a major magazine platform called platinum Genz magazine the debuted date has been pushed back due to sudden inconveniences. Izz wants to be known as a successful young man trying to make a difference In the world than rather be looked at as a man or murderer.

“If I ever had the chance I would want to work with DaBaby, NBA YoungBoy, Quando Rando, or fees 2Timez.” Izzy wants to make his place known in the music industry and wants to bring anyone on board who is serious about music as a career. Now 27 Izz was incarcerated at the age of 18 and has been behind the wall since. As disappointing as it may seem Izzy has turned his prison sentence into a career. “Sometimes I can’t sleep because I feel like I’m missing something important.” He quoted during the interview.

Izz was asked, as an artist in prison, what is one of the biggest challenges you face? “My biggest challenge revolves around a safe way to promote myself without bringing the wrong attention to myself. Being in the circumstances I am in, all it takes is for one person to disagree with my moral standards or even to just not like me to report me to the authorities.” There is a very thin line of what he can do to promote himself safely. In the modern-day world of social media, people see prison as fun but Izzy wants people to know that you shouldn’t believe the hype.

“I’ve seen people I was very close to losing their life over something as simple as a burger from the canteen or a 25$ debt that could have been easily paid. I’ve seen prison riots where no one would walk away alive and I’ve seen the prison guards avoid coming into the dorms to desolate situations. Throughout all of the negativity that goes on around me, I try my best to remain humble and keep my mind focused on building a career and prioritizing my goals over getting tied up in the prison system.”
