Mac Dre’s protege Shawn Cook explores the anxiety and disgust associated with a poisonous relationship in his most recent song, “Stay.” Cook, formerly known as Vital, has written and worked with a number of West Coast heavyweights in hip-hop, including Snoop Dogg and B Real.
