On August 27th, DJ Khaled touched down in NYC to celebrate the release of his new album “GOD DID,” and Dante was the perfect addition to capturing this star-studded event, featuring the likes of Offset, Shenseea, Fabolous, Giggs, and more.

Who is Dante Hillmedo?
Born and raised in Bronx, NY; Dante is an aspiring film director who has talents not only behind the camera but also in front of it. Having been in films and commercials as an actor, he also found a passion for being behind the camera. Starting with doing celebrity interviews at Sirius XM radio years ago, Dante has gone on to do video work for celebrities, brands, restaurants, up-and-coming businesses, and music artists. Dante’s keen eye for video and unique editing style is a key point to why he’s booked and busy; taking what would be a normal video and transforming it into a cinematic experience. Many of Dante’s clients state that his videos inspire emotion, and I completely agree with that sentiment, Dante’s videos take you on a journey and make you feel like you were there… Or wish you were there because it looks like an epic unforgettable moment.
What to expect from Dante?
Dante’s looking to put on the director hat and get into the world of feature films. He’s dropped hints here and there about a horror film he plans on producing soon. In a world where a lot of horror films fall flat, I believe that with what we’ve seen of Dante’s work thus far; his film will also take us on a journey. Hopefully, one that will keep us on the edge of our seats and give the kiddies nightmares.. Ha ha. But I truly look forward to seeing what Dante has in store for us next. He just covered the VMAs on behalf of Essence Magazine, and I’m sure that we’ll be seeing more exclusive recaps coming our way soon enough from exclusive events and more!
