Hailing from the streets of Seattle, Washington MariBased1 is someone to have on your radar. The Seattle-based artist showcases his Northern flow with his latest single, “Sometimes”, off of his MARRIOTO EP. The single has a smooth head bobbing vibe that’ll have you feeling yourself. He delivers a melodic cadence as he expresses he’s in his zone, and on a mission to continue to go out and get it.
MariBased1 showcases high energy in the accompanying music video. Viewers get a peak at his lifestyle as an artist as he’s gaining supporters who come into contact with him, and respectfully on his grind.
“One reason why I am passionate about music is because it is in my blood; it’s not on me it’s in me,” MariBased 1 says. “I was groomed and built for this my whole life.”
That passion could be heard throughout MariBased1’s project. MARRIOTO is a body of work that consists of some of Maribaed1’s notable singles that have been featured on major platforms such as BET, MTV, as well as making it to #1 at college radio stations. Listeners get an insight of the inner city community Maribased1 comes from, the many layers to him, and overall where his drive stems from.
As for what’s next for MariBased1, he is keeping busy as has many creative endeavors up his sleeve. He’s running his own radio show, “Seattle Music Is Real Radio”, and is currently on tour under the same name. “Seattle Music Is Real” tour is a tour curated by MariBased1 where he’s not only promoting his own music, but creating a space and the opportunity for other local artists to showcase their talents.
