Rob49 Shines at Sold-Out Homecoming Show with Special Guests Sexyy Redd, Moneybagg Yo & More

This past weekend, New Orleans witnessed an unforgettable night as Rob49 returned to his roots, headlining a sold-out show at the Smoothie King Center. The hometown hero, known for his dynamic stage presence and hit tracks, delivered a spectacular performance that left the audience in awe and solidified his status as New Orleans’ next superstar. This event follows his most recent release, “Off Dat Drank,” which received rave reviews from fans.

The star-studded affair featured vibrant performances by some of the top young acts in the industry, including Sexyy Red, Moneybagg Yo, Polo G, No Cap, Fredo Bang, Hunxho, Bossman Dlow, YTB Fatt, YD the Illest, and Supabad. Each artist brought their unique flair to the stage, creating an electric atmosphere that resonated with the crowd.

A highlight of the night was when Moneybagg Yo surprised Rob49 on stage, presenting him with his first RIAA gold plaque for “Vulture Island V2,” marking a significant milestone in his career.

The evening also saw Rob49 receiving honors from both the New Orleans Mayor’s office and the City Council, celebrating his contributions to the music scene and his positive impact on the community. Ahead of Father’s Day, he made a generous gesture by bailing out several fathers for non-violent crimes, allowing them to reunite with their families. Additionally, he partnered with Ethika to distribute free merchandise to fans in the French Quarter.
