Boone & Rich Films Brings ‘Yall Drawn’ to AMC Theaters on August 16th

“Yall Drawn” is an upcoming comedy film set to hit AMC Theaters on August 16th, 2024. This film follows community activists Maurice and Darryl, played by comedian and producer Boone and film producer Rich, who inadvertently become the targets of the drill rap gang, “The Park Apes.”

Produced by Boone & Rich Films, “Yall Drawn” aims to resonate with the younger generation, promoting unity and strength. With endorsements from notable figures like Lee Daniels and Katt Williams, the film is highly anticipated.

The title “Yall Drawn” is Philadelphia slang for someone causing unwanted attention, encouraging youth to align their actions positively. The plot kicks off with a live-streamed carjacking gone wrong, where Maurice seizes the gang’s gun and phone, leading to an epic humiliation broadcast online. This triggers a series of wild events as the gang vows revenge, resulting in botched schemes, outrageous showdowns, and comedic attempts on Maurice and Darryl’s lives.

“Yall Drawn” aims to engage youth involved in gang and drill rap culture by showcasing unattractive behaviors in their communities through humor and storytelling. The film features a star-studded cast, including Mona from the podcast “Don’t Call Me White Girl,” reality star Dayjia (“Meatball” from “Baddies Caribbean” on Zeus Network), and sports analyst and stand-up comedian Bubba Dub. DJs Diamond Kutz and Cosmic Kev, as well as Ricky Duncan, founder of the NOMO Foundation, also appear in the film.
