2K has officially unveiled new innovations coming to PGA TOUR 2K25, enhancing MyCAREER and MyPLAYER with a suite of customization, gameplay, and progression updates. The game will feature three Major Championships, an all-new EvoSwing mechanic, and deeper customization, delivering the most authentic and accessible golf experience to date.
Expanded MyPLAYER Customization allows for more detailed character creation, including multiple body types, additional head models, expanded skin tones, and enhanced hairstyle options. Players can also build multiple MyPLAYERs with refined archetypes and skill trees tailored to specific playstyles.
Equipment Progression introduces a Level Up system for clubs and balls, allowing players to enhance their gear through earned or purchased Level Up Tokens, Fittings, and EvoTools. The more a player uses specific equipment, the more it improves, offering a personalized gameplay experience.
MyCAREER Rounds now include Dynamic Rounds and Interactive Simulation, providing options to complete rounds faster. Players can start their career from Q-School, the Korn Ferry Tour, or jump straight into the PGA TOUR, aiming to reach the Top 70 and compete for the FedEx Cup.
The EvoSwing mechanic refines swing mechanics for both Swing Stick and 3-Click Swing, enhancing realism and responsiveness. A new Perfect Swing difficulty setting provides a more accessible, forgiving experience, ideal for newcomers and casual players.
