The world’s biggest streaming studio, Netflix, is gearing up for what could be its biggest year yet in 2025, with a star-studded showcase revealing an exciting slate of films, series, live events, and games. At their annual You’re Not Ready for What’s Next event, held at Los Angeles’ Egyptian Theatre, Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria shared a bold vision for the future, promising a diverse and thrilling lineup that will captivate audiences worldwide.
“Whatever you’re looking forward to this year, you’re not completely ready for what’s coming next on Netflix,” said Bajaria, kicking off the event. With over 700 million viewers tuning in live from 12 countries, including special appearances from WWE stars CM Punk and Rhea Ripley, filmmakers like Guillermo del Toro, and actors such as Ben Affleck and John Mulaney, the energy was high as Netflix revealed what’s next for the platform in 2025.

We need to be the best version of everything,” she added, teasing an exciting mix of new and returning projects.
