Mickey Guyton Releases Powerful Rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ From Super Bowl LVI to Mark Three-Year Anniversary

Grammy®-nominated artist Mickey Guyton has announced the release of her stunning rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner from Super Bowl LVI. This release coincides with the three-year anniversary of her iconic performance, which took place before the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals faced off. At the time, Rolling Stone praised Guyton for showcasing her “massive range,” starting the anthem high and soaring even higher as the accompaniment filled in.

“I still get chills thinking about that moment,” Guyton said. “I mean getting to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl like so many iconic artists before me? Wow! It’s something that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.  I’ll be forever grateful for that opportunity.”

Her 2022 performance at Super Bowl LVI, seen by an average of 112.3 million viewers according to NBC, has since propelled Guyton to sing the national anthem at major national events, including the World Series, U.S. Open women’s championship game, and the NBA Cup, among others.
