Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Jewelry And Record Plaques Are Being Auctioned Following IRS Seizure

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s extensive collection of jewelry and Gold and Platinum plaques is set to be auctioned off after being seized by the IRS last year. The collection, consisting of 63 items, is listed on multiple online auction sites, with bidding scheduled to begin on March 5. Experts estimate the total value to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Among the standout pieces up for grabs is 6ix9ine’s iconic “Bruce the Shark” chain, designed by Houston jeweler Jimmy Phan, which is expected to fetch between $100,000 and $200,000. Other notable items include his “Billy the Puppet” Jigsaw pendant, a diamond necklace believed to have belonged to his former girlfriend Yailín la Más Viral, and several Gold and Platinum plaques awarded for his hit songs and albums, including Day 69, Dummy Boy, “Gooba,” “Kika,” and “Stoopid.”

The IRS raided the controversial rapper’s Florida home in April 2023, citing “nonpayment of internal revenue taxes.” 6ix9ine himself seemingly confirmed the situation in a recent Instagram story, where he shared footage of his Florida property.

“One year ago, when I was stuck in [the Dominican Republic], the feds raided my entire house because I had not reported my income for four years,” he explained. “They assumed I was running and hiding in the DR, when in reality, I simply couldn’t return to the U.S.”

He also suggested that a past social media post, in which he flaunted a safe filled with cash, may have contributed to the IRS crackdown.

“This was the reason the feds did the raid,” he claimed. “They broke into the safe thinking there was money inside, but it was only jewelry.”

With the auction set to begin soon, fans and collectors will have the opportunity to own a piece of the embattled rapper’s flashy lifestyle—at the right price.
