In celebration of International Women’s Day, Icy Hot and Unrivaled cofounder Napheesa Collier, alongside fellow Icy Hot squad member Arike Ogunbowale, are honoring the behind-the-scenes heroes of their league. Ahead of this weekend’s games, Unrivaled’s training staff will receive surprise $10,000 bonuses inside the Icy Hot Training Room, recognizing their crucial role in athlete recovery during the demanding nine-week season.
The gesture underscores Icy Hot’s commitment to supporting women in sports and elevating the often-unseen professionals who keep athletes at their best. Inspired by Collier’s earlier act of donating half her 1-on-1 tournament bonus to staff, this moment celebrates collective impact.
To mark the occasion, both Collier and Ogunbowale will wear custom Icy Hot armbands honoring their trainers as they walk through the tunnel—Phee honoring Terri Acosta and Arike recognizing Lindsey Elizondo.
“She is such a hard worker, and I admire and appreciate the way that she shows up for each of us everyday,” Phee said of Terry Acosta.
“She’s smart, fun to be around, attentive, and always make’s sure my body is right,” Ogunbowale said of Lindsey. “I appreciate all the work she puts in behind the scenes to make sure we ca perform the best we can on the court.”
