The Philadelphia Eagles are headed to the White House. After rumors that the Super Bowl champions would decline to visit under President Trump, the Eagles have reportedly accepted the invitation.
“I know there was a lot of fake news about an invitation that wasn’t sent or was sent, we want to correct the record: we sent an invitation, they enthusiastically accepted, and you will see them here on April 28,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Tuesday (March 12).
The team also confirmed to ESPN that they have accepted. Individual team members have not shared if they will attend.
