Tiger Woods is a sniper! The best golf player to ever live has hit a hole-in-one, securing Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., as his new love interest.
According to The Daily Mail, Donnie Jr. is cool with the relationship, as if he had a choice. The two were married for 12 years before their 2018 divorce.
Woods and Trump make an interesting couple. Both share a love for golf, including Trump’s daughter, Kai Trump, an elite golfer who will play for the University of Miami this fall.
Being a mentor may be the closest Woods will get to a golf course. According to Yahoo Sports, Tiger Woods will be sidelined for most of this golf season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon. The golfing legend confirmed the injury and his recovery through a social media post on Tuesday, March 11.
“As I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was deemed to be ruptured,” Woods shared.
Get this: Woods provided an update on his surgery, revealing that Dr. Charlton Stucken of the Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida, successfully performed a minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair. “The surgery went smoothly, and we expect a full recovery,” Dr. Stucken commented in Woods’ post.
What’s more, Woods also expressed gratitude for the support he’s received, saying, “I am back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab, thank you all for the support.”
Woods has not competed in any PGA Tour events this year. He had initially planned to make his season debut at The Genesis Invitational in February, a tournament he hosts every year, but withdrew following the passing of his mother, Kultida Woods. However, Woods has participated in TGL events in Florida with his team.
This injury comes after Woods underwent a “microdecompression surgery of the lumbar spine” in Sept. 2024 to address nerve impingement in his lower back. This procedure marked his sixth back surgery in the past decade.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers in history, Woods has accumulated 82 tour victories, tying the record set by Sam Snead. Additionally, he has won 15 major championships, just three behind Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18.
