Cassie is hoping that Kanye West will shut up. Hitting Instagram, Cassie posted a tweet from Playboi Carti telling Ye to “STFU” with his latest rants. Cassie and Carti have been Ye’s targets lately.
The rapper formerly known as Kanye West once again stirred up wild controversy, this time going in on his accusation that singer Cassie “extorted” music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Without evidence, we might add.
Ye claims Cassie threatened to release a tell-all book unless Diddy paid her a large sum. His comments came just hours after another public rant criticizing several fellow rappers.
Here’s what the tweet said: “F**K JIM JONES,” despite having spent time with the Dipset member in Tokyo just weeks earlier. This set the tone for his subsequent remarks, which quickly targeted Diddy. He questioned the public’s outrage over a widely circulated hotel footage involving Diddy and Cassie, asking why there’s so much anger directed at Diddy when, according to him, “most men have abused a woman at some point in their life.”
“HOW EVERY NI**A YOU KNOW HIT A GIRL BEFORE BUT EVERYBODY SO MAD AT PUFF,” Ye posted. He went on, “SO CASSIE AINT EXTORT PUFF? CASSIE CAME TO PUFF AND SAID GIMME 30 MILLION OR IMA RELEASE A TELL ALL BOOK THATS LOOK LIKE EXTORTION TO ME.”
We’ll spare you the other screenshots.
But wait, in addition to calling out Diddy, Ye supported a few rappers he still respects, specifically A$AP Rocky and Kodak Black. “I’ve never seen Rocky do ‘no faot sh*t,’” he said. However, he also shared a broader critique of the rap industry, stating that while many rappers engage in “bih sht,” there are still a few he has respect for. “JUST LIKE JEWS AS A WHOLE THEY BE DOING BI**H SHT BUT THERE’S A FEW I STILL F**K WITH,” he added.
Antisemitism is a red line for us in any circumstances. We just need to point that out.
Additionally, Ye lashed out at his former collaborators, including Ty Dolla $ign, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, and Tyler, The Creator, accusing them of engaging in disloyal behavior.
Dang, what did Ty Dolla do? Don’t they have three albums together?
