SEE IT: Cardi B and Jim Jones Respond to Ye’s Social Media Outburst with Mixed Reactions

Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has once again stirred up controversy with a series of social media rants, drawing responses from fellow artists Jim Jones and Cardi B. His posts, which targeted multiple figures in the music industry, ranged from personal accusations to broader critiques, sparking a mix of reactions.

Cardi B has yet to publicly address Ye’s comments directly, but the rapper’s remarks have sparked widespread discussion online.

ICYMI the chaos via tweet, on one of Ye’s posts, he addressed his recent clash with Iggy Azalea over their son, Onyx, writing, “Iggy, I was sorry for speaking on your kid. That was some Carti behavior.” He then turned his attention to Playboi Carti, making serious allegations: “Carti beats women. He told me to stop tweeting about Nazis. Why do broke men always try to tell me what to do? Oh, I forgot—the industry allows songs about murder but tells Carti to give me advice.” Ye added provocatively, “Carti beats women. I beat women. But everyone hates Diddy.”

Ye also claimed that Carti wanted to collaborate with his daughter, North, and alleged that he was blocked from appearing on Carti’s latest album, Music. Carti responded succinctly on Twitter, writing, “Ye, shut up.”

Jim Jones, who recently spent time with Ye in Japan, was also caught in the crossfire. Ye posted, “F*** Jim Jones,” before elaborating: “This might sound like a Tarantino movie, but here goes. Jim Jones got paid $2 million to introduce me to a man named Mr. Pink to discuss my crypto coin and never told me he was getting $2 million. He never cut me in. But that wasn’t even the worst part.” Ye then criticized Jones over a fashion collaboration, saying, “We were working on clothes, and I asked him for a PDF. This guy tells me he doesn’t know how to make a PDF. Get one of your young guys to do it, Capo. I actually love Jim Jones, and I’ll never go full Ye on him, but I want that PDF more than the money.”

Jones chose not to escalate the situation, responding calmly, “I love Kanye.”

Yes, Capo did not choose violence when it comes to Ye, and we don’t mean in a literal sense; we mean in that buzzword meme sense.

Ye also made controversial remarks about several leading women in hip-hop, claiming, “Cardi B replaced Nicki Minaj. Meg Thee Stallion replaced Cardi B. Doja Cat replaced Meg Thee Stallion. Doechii replaced Doja Cat after Doja started with the Nazi talk. Funny how similar Doja and Doechii’s names are.”
