Teyana Taylor believes her ex-husband, Iman Shumpert, should be held in contempt of court. The call for being locked up results from Taylor believing Shumpert leaked their divorce documents.
Court docs obtained by TMZ reveal that Taylor has received online scrutiny and hate speech, attached to the belief of leaked information stating she was awarded cars, money, properties, and more in their divorce settlement.
According to Taylor, there was no settlement, noting that the division of assets was a judge’s decision. Shumpert is believed to have three properties left.
In addition, Taylor states Shumpert is using his moment to amplify his career.
In response, Shumpert’s attorney dropped a statement: “My client, Mr. Iman Shumpert, has never whatsoever leaked any allegations or claims stated in any of the pleadings in the Taylor/Shumpert divorce case. Mr. Shumpert adamantly denies that he has provided any information to any media. Specifically, but without limitations, he denies that he leaked any information which may have served as the basis for the multiple news reports preceding the trial of this matter.”
