Playboi Carti has made Billboard chart history, becoming the first rapper and only the third artist overall to land 30 simultaneous hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in a single week. This feat coincides with his new album, MUSIC, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
On the chart dated March 29th, Carti secured 31 Hot 100 entries, including all 30 tracks from MUSIC’s streaming version and a feature on The Weeknd’s “Timeless.” He now joins Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen in this exclusive group. Wallen holds the overall record, with 36 hits.
Carti’s 31 entries surpass Drake’s previous record for a rapper, which was 27. His single “Evil J0rdan” debuted at No. 2, matching his highest Hot 100 peak as a lead artist. “Rather Lie,” featuring The Weeknd, also landed in the top 10 at No. 4.
This surge in popularity has propelled Carti to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100, marking his first time atop the chart.
