Blueface Ordered to Pay Soulja Boy’s Girlfriend Over $123K in Defamation Lawsuit

Blueface has been hit with a costly legal setback after failing to respond to a defamation lawsuit filed by Jackilyn Martinez — Soulja Boy’s girlfriend — who accused the rapper of spreading damaging false claims about her on social media.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge awarded Jackilyn $123,243.10 in a default judgment following a hearing on Tuesday, April 1. Her lawsuit originally sought $10 million in damages, but the judgment includes $100,000 in non-economic damages, $18,000 in special damages, $3,070 in attorney’s fees, and $2,173 in court costs. The judge declined to award punitive damages.

The suit stems from a series of explosive tweets Blueface, 28, made in December 2023 during an online spat with Soulja Boy, 34. In the tweets, Blueface claimed he had slept with Jackilyn the day before her baby shower in March 2022 — an event Soulja Boy attended. “I hit Soulja [baby momma] day before her baby shower and he payed [sic] for it,” Blueface wrote. He doubled down, adding, “Till Soulja get a DNA test that’s my child lil bro I’m the daddy now.”

Jackilyn, who shares a child with Soulja Boy, immediately fired back with a lawsuit alleging defamation and emotional distress. In her declaration, she confirmed she had a single, protected sexual encounter with Blueface back in 2018 — years before her child was conceived — and has had no contact with him since. She further emphasized that DNA testing confirmed Soulja Boy is the father of her child.

“I did not engage in any sexual activity with [Blueface] the day before my baby shower, or while I was pregnant,” Jackilyn said in her sworn statement. “There is zero chance that [Blueface] is my child’s biological father.”

Despite her legal team sending Blueface a cease-and-desist letter in December, she said he not only refused to delete the posts but continued to mock the situation on social media. “Nobody ever said your name. I don’t even know who you are,” he wrote, dismissing the controversy.

Jackilyn claimed the fallout was severe. Following the online harassment, she says she received death threats from users, with one message reading, “we gun in u down.” She filed a police report in response.

In her lawsuit, she described suffering emotional trauma including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, nausea, and insomnia. Blueface, who did not respond to the suit or appear in court, is currently serving a four-year sentence for a separate probation violation. A photo of him smiling behind bars recently surfaced, but the judgment ensures his legal woes continue to mount.

Meanwhile, Soulja Boy is also entangled in his own civil legal drama, facing a separate lawsuit from a former girlfriend alleging assault and false imprisonment — claims he denies.

With this ruling, Blueface adds another layer to his growing list of legal troubles — and sends a clear message that social media recklessness can come with a serious price tag.
