Usher delivered another unforgettable performance on Tuesday night, April 1, at The O2 in London, as part of his Usher: Past Present Future Tour.
This marked the second of ten London shows, with the R&B superstar captivating 20,000 fans with his signature blend of smooth vocals and precise choreography.
The night took an exciting turn when supermodel and longtime friend Naomi Campbell made a surprise appearance. During Usher’s “Bad Girl” performance from his iconic 2004 album Confessions, Campbell took to the stage, treating it as her personal catwalk while Usher serenaded her. The unexpected collaboration thrilled the audience, seamlessly blending fashion and music.
The show was also graced by sporting royalty and entertainment stars. British boxers Anthony Yarde and Caroline Dubois attended, joined by presenter Alex Scott and singer Jess Glynne. The star-studded audience added to the electric atmosphere.
Usher’s performance was a masterclass in showmanship, featuring ten distinct acts that showcased his evolution as an artist. He moved effortlessly through a setlist that spanned three decades, from early hits like “Call Me A Mack” to classics like “Yeah!”, “U Got It Bad” and “Love In This Club.” Usher also performed newer tracks, including “Climax” and “Good Good,” highlighting his enduring relevance.
One standout moment was Usher’s 15-minute skate routine, which displayed his unparalleled stage presence and energy. Critics have praised the show, with many awarding it four or five stars.
